With a well-optimized Google Adwords campaign you can reach your potential customer from the first days, but that doesn't necessarily guarantee sales or revenue. And most likely, in the first few months, you will generate a lower profit than the cost of investments. However, it will generate a profit that needs to be reinvested.
Here's how we did the math:
1. We have assumed that for 3 months we invest a total of EUR 1200-1500 (400-500 EUR / month), but without expecting outstanding results. Basically, we did not expect the profit generated from sales to cover the investment 2. All the profit generated in the first 3 months we reinvested it in the next 3 months 3. Thus, our marketing budgets increased in the following months to 700 EUR / month
Of course, a bigger budget led to higher sales. We realized what a long-term strategy can do and we continued to reinvest the profit. Over time, we became dependent on monthly investments in Google Adwords.
